The upcoming 2023 American biographical drama film Priscilla is written, directed, and produced by Sofia Coppola. It is based on Priscilla Presley’s (executive producer) and Sandra Harmon’s 1985 memoir, Elvis and Me. It centers on Cailee Spaeny’s portrayal of Presley and her romance with Elvis Presley (Jacob Elordi).
When Priscilla and Elvis first meet in 1959 at a concert, the movie opens. He is a rising star in his field, 24 years old, and she is a 14-year-old schoolgirl. they start dating in secret after Elvis is instantly enamored with her.
Priscilla’s parents consent to her moving to live with Elvis in Los Angeles in 1966. He is thirty-one, and she is seventeen now. They keep up their covert liaison, and eventually Priscilla drops out of school to concentrate on her relationship with Elvis.
Elvis is drafted into the army in 1967. Priscilla is heartbroken, yet she sticks by him. In 1969, Elvis returns from the army, and they soon get married.
The marriage is happy at first, but eventually Priscilla starts to feel stuck and alone. Elvis is surrounded by a sizable entourage and works nonstop.
